Obituary of Mary Evelyn Callaway
1939-2010 Mary (Evelyn) Callaway, 71, passed away on August 3, 2010. Evelyn was born on February 4, 1939 in Formosa, Arkansas. She was raised in California and in 1987, moved to Oregon. Evelyn enjoyed helping others and worked as a Caregiver at Good Shepherd Homes. She was a member of Mt. Olive Lutheran Church and on her personal time, she enjoyed crafts, gardening and most of all, her family. Evelyn is survived by her sons, Thomas Golden of Longmont, CO and Kevin Scott of Charleston, SC; daughters, Pam Dämm and Teresa Stuck of Forest Grove, and Jennifer Madison of Cornelius; granddaughter Denise Lancaster of Cornelius; and her biggest joy was her granddaughter Mellissa Lea. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, August 8th at 2:00 pm at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church in Forest Grove. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
