Obituary of Ingrid Clark

Our dear and beloved mom passed peacefully at home after a lengthy battle with stage 4 cancer.Ingrid was born and raised in Darmstadt-Hessen, Germany and came to the US in late 1962 shortly after her daughter was born there with her first husband.She became a proud US Citizen June 29, 1999, while she was married to her second husband, Donald Clark, who preceded her in death in Jan. 2002.Mom worked in retail at several places in her working career and retired in 2002 after over 23 years at Fred Meyer.She loved her garden.Always watering and pruning her flowers and plants. She worked the daily word search puzzles from the newspaper and her hobbies included Facebook and Farmville(which she was diligent in playing daily).She was a great listener and loved her children dearly. She is survived by her children, Judy Irish, Herb Irish, and Daniel Clark, Brother Herbert(AZ), Sister Hildegard, nieces Gabi and Anja, and nephews Uwe and Ralf( all in Germany). Grandchildren - Savanna, Heaven, Destiny, Haylee, and Austin. Great-grandchildren – Brooklyn, Isabella, and Allannah. She is truly loved and missed. Our hearts are so broken and empty without her. Memorial Service to be held on Sunday, January 12th, 2020 at the GATEWAY ELKS LODGE, 16321 SE Stark St., Portland, OR97233 from 11:00am – 2:00pm. A place for cards will be available if you like to share a note/memory you may have had of our mother. Please feel free to bring a dessert to share.But not necessary.
