Obituary of Sandra Elizabeth Lofquist
Sandra Elizabeth (Bowles) Lofquist passed away peacefully at her home in Portland, Oregon on December 25, 2019, at the age of 76. Daughter of Paul and Lucille Bowles. Sister to Linda Bowles, Liz Somera, Steve Bowles, Mike Bowles, and John Bowles. Loving mother to daughters Shannon Strobel and Kelly Lofquist Struble, and son Eric Lofquist. Proud grandmother to Martin, Jess, James, Quinn, Matthew, Soren, Kahlial, and Naima.
Sandra was a passionate artist, a love she shared with many friends and family. She enjoyed spending her time painting, sculpting, writing and storytelling. She also adored spending time and playing games with her grandchildren.
Sandra was known as a strong advocate for human rights. She was also known for welcoming others into her home with open arms. She was proud of her connection and involvement with the Native American community.
Sandra’s ashes will be laid to rest at a place and time to be determined by her children.
