Obituary of Mark John Magura
Mark John Magura was born on October 12, 1972 in Chicago, Illinois. He was preceded in death by parents David Magura and Janet Czech. Survivors include his wife, Michelle Magura and their dog Pancho; his brother Brian and sister-in-law Kim and nieces Shannon and Morgan Magura; his step-mother, Martha Magura, and step-brothers Bjorn, Leif and Erik Lindgren. He is also survived by an abundant circle of friends.
Mark was raised in Putnam, Illinois and graduated from Western Illinois University in 1994. He moved to Portland, Oregon in 1995. Mark was an adventurer who enjoyed hiking and camping and traveling in his Volkswagen van. He was a gardener and loved creating things with his hands. Mark loved his two dogs, Pancho and Lefty, and enjoyed interacting with people in his work as a driver. Music was one of Mark’s great passions, and he enjoyed listening to live music and supporting local musicians. Mark was a giving and loving person and will always be remembered by his vibrant smile and giving nature. We lost an extraordinary human being by losing Mark on December 19, 2019.
