Obituary of Grant William Huckler
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Grant "Bill" William Huckler, 84, of Oregon City, OR. Bill was granted his wings on December 2nd 2019. His final days were spent surrounded by family and friends. Bill was a wonderful man that was loved, is missed and will always be cherished. Our "Papa" as he liked to be called by his grandchildren was an amazing partner, dad, uncle, and friend.
Bill was born December 20th, 1934, in Santa Monica, California, to the late Harry Huckler and Lenore Bailey.
He served in the United State Air Force from 1953 through 1961. While in the service Bill served as a member and instructor of the “new” at the time F-102a aircraft mobile training detachment unit.
He worked many years in the Auto Parts industry as Owner of Import Auto Parts located in Vancouver, Washington. He later ended his working career working for Napa Auto Parts, in Clackamas, Oregon.
He enjoyed bowling two days a week and playing cards every Monday at the Oregon City Senior Center with his family and friends.
A final committal service will be held at the Willamette National Cemetery Friday, January 24th, 2020. Staging will start at 1:00 with procession at 1:30.

He is survived by partner, Willi Kool. He was a loving father of Lori Huckler, Michael (Mo) Huckler, step-father of Brian Kool, Brenda (Scott) Martin. Proud grandfather of Cassandra Kool, Spencer Martin, Zachary Huckler, Kathleen Huckler, Tanner Martin, Brady Huckler and great grandfather to Carter Kool-Davis.
