Obituary of Roger Anthony
Dear Friends and Family,
While I am away, you might find me at any local sporting event, I love them all. You might catch a glimpse of me playing with my grandsons at the park or teaching my sons to never give up. I might even be seen enjoying a fine meal with my wife. I loved working with the community to assure people are able to provide for their families, so you might see me checking in to see how everyone is doing. I was a lifetime Portland resident and a well-regarded Journalist.
I was born June 4th 1954 and passed away November 23rd 2019. I leave behind my wife of 35 years, Lisa; sons, John and Derek; and daughter-in- law, Mindy. I also leave behind my beloved grandchildren, Cole and Nathan. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to ROSE Community Development. – A memorial service will be held early 2020.
