Obituary of Jimmy Lee Young

Jimmy Lee Young was born on December 28th, 1988 to Lee Jay and Sheri Young in Las Vegas, Nevada. He died September 12th, 2019 at the age of 30. Jimmy spent his early years between Henderson, Nevada and Jacksonville Arkansas. He began playing music at a very young age, and it quickly became one of his life's biggest passions and something he would spend many of his prime years pursuing. His music career become one of his proudest accomplishments and something he would beam about frequently. Jimmy was part of several successful bands - a fact he would proudly tell any person he met. He had a way with words that was simply unparalleled. In August of 2015, Jimmy packed a bag and headed out on a new adventure to Portland, Oregon, a city he'd felt called to since he was young. In March of 2016 he met his Fiancee Kaleigh to whom he was to set to marry on February 29th, 2020. They shared a home together for nearly four years prior to his death. He loved to play video games, spend time with his two dogs, Donut and Pancake, and enjoyed hiking and traveling as often as possible. He was proceeded in death by his Father Lee Jay and is survived by his Grandmother Ann, Mother Sheri, Brother Tim, Sisters April and Krista, Aunt Leann, and Cousin Jaime among many many other loving family and friends. He will be dearly missed by every person who was lucky enough to have had him in their lives.
