Obituary of Dale Duane Nass

Dale was born in Hettinger County, North Dakota to Carl G. Nass-Havelock and Mildred G. (Husfloen) Nass. He was married to Rose (Schulz) Nass on June 14, 1955. They have been married for 64 years. Dale had 5 children, 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren, 1 step-granddaughter and 3 step-great grandchildren. Dale lived in North Dakota until 1956 and then moved to Tigard, Oregon where he spent the rest of his life. He served time in the United States Army, then owned Western Plumbing for many years. He later sold the business to his business partner, but continued to work for the company until the day he retired. Dale was an active member of the Tigard American Legion Post 158, where he volunteered his time. Dale is survived by his spouse, Rose Nass, his children, Kelley Nass, Kraig Nass (spouse Rusty), Krysti (Nass) Jackson, Kari Nass and Kert Nass (spouse Rachel), his grandchildren Katie Nass, Jackie (Nass) Burshtynsky (spouse Mark), Sheena (Nass) Leslie (spouse Chase), Justin Nass (spouse Leslie), Trisha (Jackson) Jones (spouse Adam), Kelsey Jackson, Nicole Jackson Garcia (spouse Miguel) and Quinten Nass, and step-granddaughter Bobbie Schrag (spouse Tim) and her children Kyle, Bevin and Taylor. He is also survived by his great grandchildren – Aiyana, Aiden, Jacalob, Adele, Hunter, Kaden, and Jordan – and his siblings, Arlie Nass and Eileen Kroll. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Mildred Nass, his sister, Georgine Wolff, and his granddaughter, Marianne Nass. Burial will be held on August 12th at noon at: Willamette National Cemetery 11800 SE Mt Scott Blvd Portland, OR 97086 A celebration of life will be held from 2:00 to 6:00 following the burial at: Tigard American Legion Post 158 8635 SW Scoffins St Tigard, OR 97223
