Debra I Marshall, Oregon City
Debra passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on July 24, 2019 at the age of 81.Debra was a daughter, a wife, a mother, a grandmother, a great grandmother, and a friend.She was the youngest child of Joe and Vera Backa of Astoria, Oregon. She was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Rodger Marshall. They made their home in Albany, Oregon,where they raised their family. They loved family camping trips, fishing and clam digging. She loved spending time with her family and friends, but she was most content when making a home for her family, watching her John Wayne movies and dancing as often as possible.She is survived by her children: Renae Goldie (Jim), Lisa Jones (John), Marilee Marton (George), Joel Marshall (Melanie), and Graig Marshall (Robyn); 13 grandchildren, and 20 great grandchildren.She touched the hearts of everyone she came into contact with. Her passion for life will be greatly missed. A memorial service will be held 2 PM on Saturday August 3 at McLoughlin Place, 1153 Molalla Ave, Oregon City.
