Obituary of Penny Jean Harris
Born June 4th 1957, Penny Jean Harris, was the youngest of 5 children.The Baby Girl to her parents, the Baby sister to her siblings.The little girl with beautiful blonde curls.
As she grew, those blonde curls changed to beautiful brunet, with striking olive green eyes. A free spirit. Happy, healthy and legs for days! You would often find her hiking around Mt Hood during her mairrage to Scott McQueeney, or running circles around family and friends at picnics, playing family baseball in her Daisy Dukes. Overflowing with beauty in body and spirit. Or in her late 20's and early 30's camping with family, durring her mairrage to Doug Schmillen, or soaking up the sun in a lawn chair or her pool on a scoarching Nampa summer day. She could tell you a song name within 3 seconds of the song. Loved music, nature, the sun, family, friends, laughter and fun. She loved her children, and her nieces and nephews like they were her own.
In 1992 she was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. While it attacked her body she fought to keep her independance. In more recent years she began to accept some help from family, most recently her niece Ceena, and Maria with Honored Citizens and her team. She waged a very difficult battle with COPD at the end, and succumbed to her ailments on June 29th 2019 surrounded by the love of her family. She was preceded in death by her Mother Maime Jean Harris, father Sidney William Harris, and brother Michael Harris. She is survived by brother Timothy Harris, sister Cindy Morin, brother in law Armando Morin, daughter Jennifer Cooper, son Christopher McQueeney, son in law Jason Cooper, Nephews Casey Harris, Corey Harris, Ben Murphy, Armando Morin Jr, and Justin Harris, Nieces Ceena Morales, Cari Anne Harris, and Marika Harris. Lest we not forget her buddies, her Grand Children Joshua White, Jasmine White, Riley White, Chase McQueeney, and Karley McQueeney, and her buddies, her Grand Nieces Noemi Morales, Elizabeth Morales, Mercedes Morales, Marajade Murphy,Casey Murphy,Sophie Murphy,Ashley Harris,Jacey Harris,Nola Harris,Hazel Harris and grand Nephew Noe Jordan Morales. Rest in Peace Momma, Nenny, Penny Jean, we love you bunches.
