Obituary of David E. Preston

David E. Preston Jr. 02/17/1958-06/27/2019 Born to David and Judy on 02/17/1958 in Newport, OR Lincoln county. Preceded in death parents David and Eileen Preston, mother Judy Edwards. Brothers Skip and Monte, sisters Bonnie, Jackie and Melody. Survived by wife Debbie of 19 years, daughters, AJ, Tascha(Sean), and Marlana. Granddaughters Brooklyn and Elena, grandsons CJ, Cole, and Calvin. Siblings Lee(Manny), Pennie(Greg), Grady(Gloria), Richard(Debbi) and Rick. Stepdad Steve Edwards, many cousins, nieces and nephews. Mother-in-law Winnie, brother-in-law Robert(Mirna), Brian and sister-in-law Jerri. David went to Molalla Union High School where he graduated in June 1977. Afterwards he joined the Army and was stationed in Germany. David left the Army and worked various jobs throughout his young adult life. He married Debbie 8/21/99 and relocated back to Oregon and began working as a cook at Legends at Spirit Mt. Casino. David was employed by Spirit Mt. until 8/2015 when he had to semi retire due to health. In Feb of 2018 he was diagnosed with cancer. David enjoyed fishing,cooking, baking and being with his family and friends. As well as making crafts for his granddaughters and daughters and wife. The service is going to be on Saturday July 13th at 2 pm at Westminster Presbyterian Church address is 3737 Liberty Rd S, Salem, OR 97302.
