Obituary of Jeanette Elise Pallori

Jeanette Elise Newton Pallori was born on December 19, 1955 in Fort Riley, Kansas.She moved often as a child, including stays in Germany and in Thailand, finally settling in Santa Clara, California in 1967.She graduated from Cupertino High School in 1973 and moved to Oregon with her family.She began her career in law enforcement with Tigard Police Department.In 1978, she became a 911 dispatcher for the City of Portland.She joined the Portland Police Bureau in 1993, where she worked in the Detective Division, the Chief’s office and most recently, the Neighborhood Response Team office.She enjoyed her work, taking pride in her ability to support her colleagues and act as a resource to the public, using her extensive law enforcement experience to provide information, guidance and solutions in response to varied and unique issues.Her value was honored by the Portland Police Bureau, which awarded her the Distinguished Service Medal. Jeanette enjoyed traveling and being outdoors.Highlights of her adventures included road tripping around Ireland, wading into the Mediterranean in Cinque Terre, visiting family in Germany, basking in the Southern California sun, hiking in Southern Oregon and rafting the Rogue and Deschutes Rivers. Jeanette passed away in peace and comfort at Legacy Hopewell House on June 25, 2019.She is survived by her parents, Rick and Lotte Newton, and her daughter, Adriana Pallori (Mario Farfan).She was preceded in death by her beloved brother, Anton Newton.
