Obituary of Marion C. Coleman
Marion C. Coleman, 79 yrs old, of Portland Or., went to sleep in death on June 1, 2019. She did so in the most peaceful way possible, in her sleep. Originally from Tennessee, she moved to St Helen's Or. and later to Portland in the mid-seventies. She lived her remaining years in this place that she dearly loved.
Marion was a loving wife and beloved mother. She loved to travel, fish and go camping. In her earlier days she loved to cook for her family and friends. Marion and her husband were Snowbirds ( people who traveled depending on the weather). They did this for many years. She loved nature, especially humming birds. She was member of Portland Pentecostals, 9775 SE Mt.Scott Blvd, Portland, Oregon 97266, since 1996.
Marion was preceded in death by her husband,Harold E. Coleman, Mildred Mears (sister), Violet Zimmerman (sister) Thurman Bryan (brother), Carroll Bryan (brother). She leaves two sisters, Carolyn Matthews and Brenda Shearon both of Tennessee. Her daughter, Margaret Love (John) of Memphis TN. Ed Sanders (Mitzi) of Vader, WA. and Tammy Puckett of Stevenson, WA. Her grandchildren Safari, Lashanda, and Jeremy Love. Amy and Leeann Sanders. Jeffrey and Joshua Chilson. She had 12 great-grand children and a host of nieces and nephews. Marion will be truly missed. For those of us who believe in the Bible, we look forward to seeing her in the resurrection. John 5:28,29.
The Memorial will be at Harpeth Hills Memorial Gardens, 9090 TN Hwy 100, Nashville, Tennessee 37221, on June 28th at 2:00 PM.
