Obituary of Cheryl Coffelt
Cheryl Coffelt (Benson) entered the arms of her Lord peacefully in Salem, Oregon on April 30th, 2019 at the age of 69 with her daughter Krissa at her bedside.
Cheryl is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Krissa and Larry Bicknell of Kalispell, MT and son, Scott Burton of Salem, OR; 7 grandchildren: Brandon of Salem, OR; Kendra of Kalispell, MT; Stone of Keizer, OR; Lucien of Salem, OR; Amanda of Bonners Ferry, ID; Cody of Kalispell, MT; and Jacob of O’Fallon, MS, and 4 great-grandchildren: Andria of Willamina, OR; Charity of Willamina, OR; Brooklynn of Kalispell, MT; and Harley of Kalispell, MT. She is also survived by her sister Cynthia Benson of Salem, OR; and her two brothers; Ernie (sister-in-law Mary) Benson of Salem, OR. and Aaron Benson of Salem, OR. Cheryl is also survived by 2 nieces and 3 nephews. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Floyd Coffelt.
Cheryl was born on Decemeber 9th, 1949 in Salem, OR to Leonard and Beverly Benson. Her children remember her as a generous, resourceful, fun-loving, understanding, and caring mother who always encouraged them to pursue their goals. Cheryl was accomplished at crocheting and helped her daughter learn how to crochet. She was a character who loved playing games and who had a passion for cribbage and bingo.
She will be forever loved and missed by all that were Blessed to know her.
