Obituary of Christopher Edward Foy

It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Christopher Edward Foy, loving husband and father, on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 in Portland, Oregon. He left us unexpectedly after fighting a long medical battle while surrounded by family. Chris was born May 2, 1958 in Oak grove, Oregon, and was a lifelong area resident. He married the love of his life, ToniRae, on July 20, 1990 and together they shared two daughters, Lani and Lacey. He worked as a warehouseman for Safeway, Oregon Transfer, and Freightliner. Chris had an infectious smile that never faded. He was a kind, patient, and thoughtful man who loved his wife more than words can describe, and supported his daughters in any and every way that he could. He loved the outdoors and often spoke of memories catching critters by the creek as a kid and his favorite fishing spots. He spent his spare time going on drives with his wife, taking care of his beloved dog Boo, and spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife, ToniRae Foy, and his daughters, Lani Foy and Lacey Foy. He is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas & Billie Foy, and his two siblings, Susan Foy and Karen Foy. A Celebration of Life will be held at Vinyl Tap Bar & Grill (The old Oak Grove Tavern) on Saturday, May 25, 2019 at 2:00pm.
