Obituary of Verona Lynn Caviness
1957 – 2010 Verona Lynn Caviness (Higgins) was granted her Angel Wings on April 29, 2010 at home in Rhododendron, Oregon. She fought a courageous battle with cancer. She was born September, 22, 1957, in Poplar, Montana. Growing up in Nampa, Idaho with her father and mother and three sisters, where she met and married her husband. Later she came to Oregon with her husband, Gary. She enjoyed time with her family and taking road trips, camping and fishing. Verona is survived by her husband, Gary Caviness, 2 children and their spouse, Christy & Eric York, Brad and Niki Caviness, 4 grandchildren, CJ, Tiffany, Morgen & Braxton, her parents Bob and Frankie Higgins, 2 sisters and their spouses, Bonnie & Randy Ferguison, Cathy & George Olsen, Patty & Sean Daniels, 4 nieces and 3 nephews, her in-laws, Shannon & Sarah Darrah, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. A Memorial Service will be at Crown Memorial Center – Milwaukie on Friday, May 7th at 2:00 pm. A special thank you to Nurse Joyce Taylor of Kaiser Hospice, you made the world of difference to her.
