Obituary of Emma LaVerne Ballweber

Emma LaVerne Ballweber, 70, of Woodburn died April 24, 2010. A Memorial Service will be held Monday, May 3, 2010 at 2:00pm in Silver Creek Assisted Living in Woodburn. Emma LaVerne Hagner was born July 29, 1939 in Vancouver, WA. She was raised in the Vancouver/Portland area and graduated from Gresham High School. She was a cashier for Texaco and also worked in several nursing homes in the Portland area. She loved square dancing and going to Spirit Mountain. She was a member of Toe Draggers Square Dance Group and the Rebekahs. She married James W. Ballweber June 14, 1969. She is survived by her husband James Ballweber of Woodburn; stepdaughter’s Tammy Utto and Jeanette Ballweber both of Floodwood, Minnesota; brother Dale Hagner of Canby and sister Barbara Davis of Ridgefield, WA.
