Obituary of Kim Marie Ashley
December 28, 1960 – April 10, 2010 Kim Marie Ashley passed away Saturday, April 10th, 2010 in the peaceful setting that is the Hopewell Hospice House in SW Portland. She was born December 28, 1960 in St. Helens, OR to Travis & Lois (Painter) Ashley. She lived in Scappoose until 1968 when she moved to Tacoma until the late ‘80’s. She returned to Scappoose where she enjoyed a career as a private caregiver. Kim enjoyed many things, but she especially liked bird watching, gardening, and crafting. She is survived by her father, Travis of Scappoose, her brother; Travis Jr. also from Scappoose, ½ brothers; Robert Burgess (Pyullap), Aaron Ashley (Pendleton), and Ryan Ashley (Pendleton), ½ sisters; Billie Burgess (Puyallup), and Marsha Ashley (Hillsboro).She’s also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles. Kim was preceded in death by her mother Lois and her infant daughter, Luicia. Private services have been held. In lieu of flowers, please give any memorial contributions in her name to the Legacy Hopewell House. Arrangements were by Crown Memorial Center in Portland.
