Obituary of Louis Dennis Maloy
Louis Dennis Maloy, 81, December 24, 1927 - July 24, 2009 "Denny" as he was known to his friends and family went to the Lord on July 24, 2009. He was born in Akron, Ohio in 1927 and moved with his family to Inglewood, Calif., in 1928. After serving in the Merchant Marines at the end of World War II, he started a radiator business in 1964 in Gardenia, Calif. In 1969 he moved to Sherwood with his wife and two daughters and then to Canby in 1988, where he retired from his own painting business. Denny is survived by his wife, Beverly; daughters, Diane Maloy, Dennise Dutson and Cheryl Ashford; son, Mike Maloy; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grand-children; and sister, Pat Reynolds, Denny had a strong faith in our Lord and a memorial service with a celebration of his life will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 1, 2009, in Bethany Church, 450 S. Ivy St., Canby OR 97013. The family requests donations to be made to the Canby Center at P.O. Box 518, Canby, OR 97013.
