Obituary of Anthony S. Marino
Anthony (Tony) S. Marino March 27, 1937 – March 11, 2010 Tony S. Marino, of Oregon City, Oregon, passed away at his home on March 11, 2010, at the age of 72. Tony was born to Tony S. and Edith (Nelson) Marino, in Banning, California, on March 27, 1937. He married Linda R. Kilander on December 27, 1970, in Portland Oregon, and they had 2 daughters: Kelly Hester of Bend, Oregon, and Karri Hardin of Portland, Oregon. Tony is predeceased by his mother, Lou Marino. Tony graduated Jefferson High School in 1955 and later joined the Marine Corps. He was owner of Marino’s Furniture Store in North Portland and retired in 2002. He was a member of Pacific NW 4-Wheel Drive Association (PNW4WDA), as well as old car clubs and the old car swap meet. A Memorial Service and pot-luck will be held on Saturday, March 27, 2010, 1 p.m. at the Museum of the Oregon Territory, 211 Tumwater Drive, by the Oregon City Falls. Arrangements were made by Crown Memorial Center at the Milwaukie location.
