Obituary of Marlene Denise Tackett
Marlene was granted her Angel wings as she went home to be with the Lord in the evening hours of February 23, 2010 at age 49. She was the daughter of William and Elsie Taylor, born February 25, 1960 in North Bend, Oregon. She married Richard Tackett and together they raised two boys Joshua and Jeffrey in Salem, Oregon. Marlene enjoyed her family, watching movies and had a strong love for the Lord. She is survived by her husband Richard; sons Joshua and Jeffrey; granddaughter Kairah; brother Bill; sisters Lori, Terry, Christi, Wendy and Kari. She is preceded in death by her parents and her sister Kelly. A Memorial Service will be held 4 PM Saturday, February 27, at Harvest Time church, 600 16th St NE, Salem, OR. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Willamette Valley Hospice in Marlene’s’ name. Services entrusted to Crown Memorial Center - Salem.
