Obituary of Linda Anne Harvey
Linda Anne Harvey was born to Gerald and Arleen Harvey in Portland, Oregon.
She grew up in rural Sherwood, Oregon where she attended Sherwood elementary school, grades K-8, and then graduated high school in 1977 at Saint Mary’s Academy in downtown Portland.
She later graduated Portland State University with a degree in Languages.
Linda lived in France and Italy for 15 months. She was a nanny for a French family with three children. She later lived in Milan, Italy where she taught English.
Besides living in France and Italy, she also traveled to England, Germany and later Turkey.
She earned her nursing degrees from Portland Community College and OHSU. She worked as an RN for several years.
Linda loved traveling, reading, sewing, knitting and crocheting. She made many hats, sweaters and blankets. She also loved “Hello Kitty" memorabilia, and had various effects adorning her home.
Linda also enjoyed attending the opera and concerts with her beloved friend, Bob Geist.
Linda is survived by her mother Arleen Harvey, sister Sharon Walter, brothers; Steve Harvey, Mike Harvey and Mark Harvey. Nephews; Johnny Harvey and Jacob Harvey. Nieces; Samantha Walter and Emma Harvey.
