Magel D Wetmore
June 25, 1935 – November 19, 2022
Magel Wetmore at 87 years old passed away gracefully at her home in Canby, Oregon and was welcomed into the arms of Jesus on November 19, 2022. She was surrounded by many of her children and grandchildren.
Magel, our mom, was born in Alamosa Colorado to Francis Britton and Frank Commerford June 25, 1935. Unfortunately, her father passed away before she was born, so Francis moved to Montana to be closer to her family for support. Mom attended schools in Montana and eventually Oregon. After graduating High School, she attended Nurses Training through Providence in Portland Oregon. She married Robert W Wetmore April 2, 1956. He preceded her in death in 1998. Her brothers George Edgar, Jack Kennedy and Larry Kennedy also preceded her in death.
She is survived by her brother Jack Commerford, her seven children Judy Semore, Julie Curley, Donn Wetmore, Linda Ploof, Richard Wetmore, Barbara Gulden, Rhonda Hughes, 14 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
