Obituary of Kurt Edward Hansen
Kurt Edward Hansen was born January 26th, 1953 in Loma Linda California to parents John and Gwen Hansen. He was the oldest of three children with brother Greg Hansen and Lisa Bateman. Kurt grew up in Fontana California and started working at the age of 15 for the family floor covering business that became is lifetime career.
Kurt married his high school sweetheart Deborah Skeens on June 24th, 1972 and they celebrated their 50th anniversary this past summer. They had three daughters, Tanya, Jamie, and Shannon. Kurt and Debbie relocated from California to Oregon in 1978. Kurt had many hobbies including hunting, fishing, painting, building 4x4 trucks and building boats. More than anything he loved family get togethers barbequing and sitting around telling stories about his childhood and life experiences.
Kurt peacefully left this earth on October 22nd, 2022 and survived by his wife Debbie, daughters and sons-in-law Tanya and Kevin Karvandi, Jamie and Regan Smith, and Shannon and BJ Valdez. Grandchildren, Abbi and Zach Karvandi, Kobi, Kaelynn, and Triston Smith, Trey, Devon, Tylar, Mason, and Jordyn Valdez. Great grandchild Dallas.
Kurt left a positive impact on all who knew him and loved him, he will be dearly missed.
