Obituary of Gerald K. Mendenhall Sr.

Gerald Mendenhall Sr was born June 29th, 1939 and died Oct.22,2022 Gerald "Jerry" Mendenhall was born in Middleton Idaho to Allen Mendenhall and Gertrude Johnson. He was the youngest of 5 siblings. Jerry worked for Esco corporation while he raised his 8 children, after the children were raised and a few odd jobs here and there he and his wife Dusty became apartment managers and motel managers. Jerry loved to ride motorcycles, it was one of his and Dusty's favorite past times. He also tinkered with cars. He was a big jokester and everyone who met him loved him. Jerry was proceeded in death by his Parents, his wife Dusty, his sister Annie, his son Gerald Jr, and his grandson Andrew. He is survived by his brother Raymond Mendenhall and his 2 sister Iris Goff and Mary Wright. He is also survived by his 7 children, Irena Hall and her husband Brian, Herbert Mendenhall, Jeff Mendenhall, Zoanna Thomas, Kathy Freeman and her husband Randy, Hank and his wife Kandi, and Ken Mendenhall. Jerry is also survived by 28 grandkids several great grandkids and 1 great grandson. Also several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff of Mollala Manor Care Center for all they did to make our dad's final days comfortable. He will be missed terribly
