Obituary of Ann Louise Kelley
Ann Louise (Annie) Kelley, age 71, of Salem, Oregon, passed away peacefully at home on October 15, 2022. She was born in Chester, Pennsylvania, on December 28, 1950, to William E. and Mary Eileen Kelley. She was raised in Wallingford, Pennsylvania and attended St. John Chrysostom Elementary School and Notre Dame High School, where she excelled as a student and contributed to the school newspaper. Annie graduated from University of Delaware, attended Temple University of School of Law and received a master’s degree from San Diego State University. She spent her adult life in San Diego, California, raising her two loving sons. More recently she moved to Oregon to be closer to her sons.
Annie is survived by sons Patrick Mawhinney and Kevin Mawhinney, her sisters, Kathleen Nevins (Hugh) of Rose Valley, PA, and Jane Shea (Michael) of Plano, TX, and her brother William Kelley (Katherine) of Bethany Beach, DE, and many nieces and nephews.
Annie was known for her quick wit, sharp mind and caring heart. She was an accomplished pianist, animal lover, especially her dog Zippy and could often be the life of a party.
