Obituary of Judith McDonald

Judith (Judy) McDonald was a very special daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She went home to be with the Lord on July 2nd, 2022. She was born in Salem, Oregon in 1941, on February 16th. Her parents were Lee and Willla Ohmart, as well. 

Judy graduated from Oregon State University with a bachelor's degree in General Social Science. She met Dennis Tolls and got married on February 12th, 1965. 

She has two children; Toni Osbon (married to Rob with 3 children; Kyle, Cameron, and Shannon) and Darin Tolls (married to Darla with 2 children; Nicholas and Benjamin). She got remaried to Finley McDonald in 1981 until his passing. Finley has a daughter Shaun, who is married with two sons. In 2003, Judy retired from the state of Oregon where she was employed as a social worker. 

For the last fifteen years she lived in Lincoln City with Finley on "D" Lake. Mom always encouraged and thoroughly enjoyed visiting with family and friends while living at the coast. Toni and Darin recall many family meals and Christmases and gatherings at the beautiful location on the Lake in Lincoln City. Often our mom could be found there with a cat or dog in her lap and of course a full cup of hot, black coffee and a crossword puzzle nearby. Her last 3 1/2 years were spent living close to Toni Darin and family in the metro area. Our mom was dearly loved and will be missed. 

There will be a celebration of life for Judy on Sunday, September 25th from 1:00 - 4:00 pm. A light lunch and appetizers will be served.
