Obituary of Kenneth Spencer Leonard
Kenneth Spencer Leonard was born December 21st, 1927, and passed away July 1st, 2022.
Kenneth left Benson High School in 1944 to join the Marine Corps, 4th Marine Division. He served for 4 years and fought at Iwo Jima. He worked with Portland Fire and Rescue for 29 years. He also served the Lake Oswego Police Department for 6 years and was also briefly a Firearms Instructor.
Kenneth was a member of the Woodburn Estates & Golf Board from 2000-2003 and was their official photographer from 2004-2018.
Kenneth is survived by his wife, Connie Doyon, whom he married in 2018. He is also survived by his children: Martin Leonard, Teresa Craytor, Michele Barber, Jodi Vareika, Jeffrey Leonard, Katie Floyd, and Sally Leonard, 12 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren.
