Obituary of Robert S. Szostak
Robert “Bob” Stanley Szostak, passed away unexpectedly on July 2, 2022 in West Linn, Oregon. Bob was born on September 24, 1954 in Newark, New Jersey.
Bob was an automotive Mechanic for 48 years; he had been retired for 3 years at the time of his passing. When Bob wasn’t working, he loved nature and gardening, making fireworks, taking care of his fish tank and his pet Leopard gecko.
He is preceded in death by his father Stanley J. Szostak and mother Casimere K. Szostak; grandparents Catherine Szostak and Hedwig Lizak-Popek;
He is survived by his former wife of 38 years, Sheri Szostak; sister, Patty Szostak; daughter, Jennifer Fosberg; son, Christopher Szostak; son-in-law, Jason Fosberg and grandchildren Braydon and Lucas Fosberg.
Robert’s Celebration of Life will be held on August 13th at his residence; 5765 K Street, West Linn, OR 97068. For Loved Ones far away, the event will be streamed live, link TBD. Robert loved nature. He loved to grow things and feed the neighborhood squirrels. In lieu of cut flowers, please consider sending a packet of seeds, bulbs, or peanuts to honor him.
