Obituary of Elizabeth Esther Boedigheimer
Elizabeth Esther Boedigheimer (Betty), born July 28, 1937, with family at her side, passed away on July 10, 2022, just shy of her 85th birthday.
Betty was born in Viola Idaho to Viola Ida Sengstock and Milton Herbert Sims.
After moving to Oregon and graduating from Salem High School, she married Richard L Young and had two children: Teresa Boes (John) and Kenneth Young.
Betty later married Lamonde E. Evans (Monty) and had a daughter Karen Lopez.
In 2002, Betty married Gary A, Boedigheimer. The couple made their home in Brooks, Oregon until her death.
Betty loved country music and visiting bands playing local clubs would often invite her up on stage to sing a couple of songs if they knew she was in the audience. Her collection of country music vinyl and 8-track tapes was very dear to her heart.
She enjoyed crafting gifts for family and friends before arthritis made crafting too difficult. She liked animals and had pets throughout her life.
Betty is survived by husband Gary, daughters Teresa and Karen, son Kenneth, granddaughter Tessa Rose, granddaughter Pilar and great-grandson Julien.
Preceding her in death is grandson, Richard Boes (Rick) in 2003 and husband Monty in 1988. Betty will rest next to her grandson at Lone Oak Cemetery in Stayton Oregon.
