Obituary of Linda Jean Collett
On June 26, 2022, Linda J. Collett 64, passed away quietly at Avamere Care after a
lengthy illness and is now at peace.
Linda was born June 25th1958 in Indianapolis, IN. to James & Nancy Collett. She
graduated from Walla Walla High School and moved to Salem, OR, and later married
Fred Gustafson. She worked for many years at K-Mart and then at Kinko’s until health
reasons required her to retire.
She loved roses and gardening and always had suggestions for us on what flowers to
plant. She enjoyed traveling to the Oregon Coast and she was an avid collector of
music boxes. She was a loving sister with a huge heart and will be deeply missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents. She is survived by her sisters Vicki & Brenda, brothers Jim and Bill, Ex-husband Fred Gustafson, stepsons Curtis &
Freddie and numerous nieces and nephews. No funeral service or memorial is
planned. She requested her ashes be scattered at Depot Bay and her family & friends
will meet next year to honor her wishes and celebrate her life.
