Caleb Dyer

Obituary of Caleb Chase Mackenzie Dyer

Caleb Chase Mackenzie Dyer, 31, passed away June 22, 2022, at Willamette Valley Medical Center, in McMinnville, OR. Caleb was born on February 12, 1991, in McMinnville, OR. He moved to Arizona with his family in 1998 and grew up there, loving the desert heat and the Colorado River. Caleb graduated from Mohave High School in Bullhead City, AZ in 2008. Caleb returned to Yamhill County in 2011. He worked at a number of local restaurants and studied Horticulture at Chemeketa Community College.

Caleb loved learning new skills and information. His life's passion was drumming, he played in a band called Imprisoned Ethereal with his friends in Arizona for about 5 years. He was a fantastic drummer and a dedicated, loving uncle. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, and hiking with his dogs, Titan & Shelia, who went ahead of him some years ago. Caleb was caring, clever, creative, fun-loving, charismatic, kind, silly, and loved to make jokes and play pranks. He thought he made up the funniest jokes ever (they were not, LOL).

Caleb is survived by his parents, Ed and Michelle Dyer, his sister, Christina Lack, and his nieces and nephew: Serenity, Balthazzar, Seraphina, and Zoal. He was preceded in death by his older brother, Justin Dyer, in 2004.

Caleb was taken from us MUCH too soon, and he will leave a big hole in the many lives he touched. He will be deeply missed.

There will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday, July 2, 2022, at 12:00 pm at Valley Baptist Church, located at 2631 NE McDonald Lane, McMinnville, OR.
