Obituary of Michael S. Meissner
Michael S. Meissner, 43, of West Linn, Oregon, passed from this life on April 20, 2022, at Legacy Meridian Park Medical Center in Tualatin, after an extended illness.
Michael worked as a Senior Communications Engineer for the City of Portland, and greatly enjoyed his years of service as a Reserve Police Officer with the Gresham Police Department. He was a Ham Radio enthusiast, and had aspirations of becoming a pilot. He also loved the company of his two dogs, Dame and Gaston.
We honor Michael’s life and legacy. He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by his father, David F. Meissner; uncle, Raymond Meissner; aunt, Pamela Barnes; niece, Mercedes Meissner; and his grandparents.
He is survived by his mother, Vickie T. Meissner; brothers, Anthony J. Meissner, Ty J. (and Jane-Holly) Meissner, and Jared C. Meissner; sister, Stefani L. (and Nick) Strodtbeck; five nieces, two nephews, two great nephews, a great niece, and numerous other relatives.
The family would like to extend a very special thank you to Christie Tuttle, and all concerned family and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, July 3, 2022, at Spinellas Restaurant, 436 N. Main Avenue, Gresham, Oregon, from 1:00pm to 4:00pm.
