Lillie B. Strode was born to the late Charles R. Williams and Edith Williams in Dothan, Alabama on
December 3rd, 1941. She was a faithful member of Jehovah’s Witnesses for 50 years. She married a
A great man named Curtis Strode Jr. spent a wonderful 48 years together until his demise in 2016.
She was a loving mother and friend to her two beautiful girls that she loved so much. Lillie was
blessed to have worldwide loving friends and she will be missed by everyone that had the honor to
know her. She was kind, always had time to help others with whatever, and was ”easy like Sunday
morning.”
Lillie is survived by her daughters Sylvia Dickson and Cheryl Gordineer/Tom Gordineer. Her
grandchildren: Jessica Dawson, Tyler Dawson, Jayna Dickson, Shalisa Dickson, Quintin Strode. Great
grandchildren: Aidan, Isley, Silas, Adria, I’yanna, and Malakye. Grand pets: Maze and Bella Rose.
Special Friends: Camilla DeRamus, Annette Sullivan, and Kathy Dill. She is preceded in death by her
husband Curtis Strode Jr and Parents Edith and Ray Williams.
