Obituary of James Yeager

James "Jim" Joseph Yeager
August 6th, 1931 - April 22nd, 2022

Jim was born in Columbus, Ohio where he resided for many years before moving to Lake Oswego, Oregon. He graduated from the Ohio State University and worked as an architect before his retirement.

As a Christian, Jim loved reading and teaching scripture; his favorite passage was Romans 8:28. He loved his family very much and was devoted to them as a loving husband, father, and spiritual leader. Jim is survived by his wife Jo Weisenberger Yeager, Daughter Karen Yeager and her Husband Bob Kubeczko, Son Darrin Yeager and his wife Peggy, Grandson Nathan Kubeczko, Granddaughter Kendra Kubeczko, Great Grandson Waylon Yeager, Sister Patti Gossman, and Brother in Law Larry Weisenberger. Jim is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

During his time in the Air Force Jim served in the Korean war. In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to be made to the Wounded Warrior Project in James' name.

Family will be holding a private service at Willamette National Cemetery on May 3rd, 2022.
