This is such an awesome way to see how much Connie touched other people’s lives. She was such a blessing in my life. She always had me laughing with her unique sayings. I had some sweet times talking about how much she loved her family and the Lord. Such great memories I’ll have forever.❤️

Connie was very special to me she had a great sense of humor and I loved to hear her laugh, it was contagious. I had the privilege of serving with her at the New Beginnings Baby Boutique. She loved serving there. She loved the girls that came in and was so kind to them. She could relate to their struggles in life. I loved her and counted her friendship as a huge blessing in my life. The joy of being in God’s presence is a reality for Connie. No more pain or sorrow. We are all better having known Connie and we rejoice with her , as she is heaven bound.

I have so many memories of Connie but the one that stands out the brightest is the day of her baptism. We all gathered on the banks of the Santiam River and one by one each baptism candidate came forward... except for Connie who was being slowly swept downstream by the current! Mary Martinez rescued her and helped her walk back upstream to be baptized. Her testimony of faith in Jesus was pure joy. God always loved you Connie, and so do we. Thank you for making our lives richer.

I met Connie only about 8 years ago... My mom (Judi Baker) talked about Steve's cousin for years before that and after Steve's death, Connie and my mom became besties! When I'd visit and she was healthy, she would drive from Salem, OR to Dallas, OR and we'd have a "girls" lunch for Mom's birthday. After the day I met her, we'd share FB posts, text messages and a phone call here or there to catch up. She was delightful and I always said she was the best thing that came out of Steve's side of the family. I wish she had come into my life earlier so that we could have had more heart to heart conversations. I will miss those conversations but I can always look above and talk to her anyway especially when something happens that I know she'd get a kick out of. My mom doesn't have a cell or even a computer so not sure we get a post up in this media, but Connie knows mom loved her, that her friendship meant a lot and she will miss eating tacos with Connie which I guess was one of my mom's guilty pleasures. LOL. Love you Connie forever & ever~

Connie was such a sweet rascal and I will miss her terribly. She was constantly cracking me up via Facebook with comments that even a professional comedian would have laughed at. Something I admired about her was how she always tried to cheer others up when they were facing adversity. As for her own adversity’s, she never complained about them, instead she’d laugh and say “”Oh well!” Connie is the type of person our world needs more of. I miss her already even though she’s only been gone a couple days, but like so many others, I’m going to miss her for a very long time. Gods speed Connie. You did good.

I remember each time I would visit with Connie, she loved reminiscing and telling stories of her life "back in the day". We were just seven years apart so we definitely had similar experiences as kids. I consider Tracy Dolan my second daughter and I was very aware of the struggles Connie had with her health over the last several years. As sisters in Christ, we all did our best to encourage one another.
March 28th will forever be her spiritual graduation day, and I know she's now resting in the arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
