Obituary of Kevin Scott Kornegay

                                        Kevin Scott Kornegay, 58 of McMinnville Oregon

                                                   Father, Brother, Uncle, Friend

                                                  Passed away on March 15, 2022

 

Born April 11, 1963 in Stockton, California to James and Karen Kornegay.

Kevin grew up in Vancouver Washington, went to college in California and then joined the US Navy.

In 1993 Kevin moved to Oregon, and finally settled in McMinnville in 1995. He was employed by Sysco Foods, Inc as a Diesel Mechanic.

Kevin was a long-time member of the McMinnville N.A. Drug recovery program for almost 20 years, he was very proud of his own recovery also.

Kevin’s smile was as big as he was, and his laugh was contagious. He loved his kids and family the most!

Everything he did was for his kids, even if it meant working nights and overtime.

Watching sports and reminiscing about playing basketball, was something Kevin really enjoyed. He also

enjoyed watching movies, hanging out with his kids, and visiting family and friends.

His Children: Kristina, Conner, Emma, Hayley & Anthony

His Siblings: Becky, Michelle, Kayla & Darrin

His Nephews: Brandon, Chris, Stephen, Adam & Sam

 

Kevin is Preceded in Death by:

His Parents: James Kornegay & Karen Terryberry

His Daughter: Samantha Kornegay

His Grandparents: Reynold & Helen Carlson
