Obituary of Douglas Glen Clark

Douglas Glen Clark, 70, passed away on February 7, 2022, at Kaiser Hospital. Doug was born November 14, 1951 to Glen Gibbs and Donaraye E. Clark, in Portland Oregon. After graduating from Marshall High in 1969, Doug enlisted in the US Army where he was an Air Traffic Control Ground Approach Specialist in Tuy Hoa Vietnam. Upon military separation, Doug found a rewarding career as a Lineman, and a member of IBEW Local 125 for 35 years, until retirement. Doug loved to laugh and had a wicked sense of humor. He loved his family and loved his friends as family. He came from a long line of outdoorsmen, and was an avid hunter, fisherman, and camper. Doug and brother, Mike were highlighted in the Estacada News for their salmon/ steelhead fishing rivalry; both over 40 for the season as of that date.

Doug is survived by his wife Kathy of 46 years, son David (Shelley), and daughters Brandy (Tony) and LeAnna (Scott); his mother, Donaraye, sister Lauralee (John), brother Mike, and sister Ginarai (Boyd). He has 6 grandchildren: Kiera, BriAnna Raye, Dona-Raye, Rick, Mandy and Sydney. He was preceded in death by his father Glen and brother Greg.

A celebration of life will be held April 23, from 2 pm - 4 pm at the IBEW Local 125 Union Hall, located at 17200 NE Sacramento St., Gresham OR 97230.
