Obituary of Darrell Nicholson
Born in Grants Pass, Oregon. Mike graduated from Grants Pass High School. He married Judith VanScoik in August 1965. Mike adopted Judy’s son Don and they soon became pregnant with a girl, Michelle. Mike worked hard as an automotive mechanic for 35 years.
He enjoyed restoring old cars, bowling, and fishing.
Mike’s family's passion was summer vacations where he could unplug and enjoy some quality time with his kid's camping.
In his later years, Mike enjoyed sitting back and watching the Grandchildren in all their own fun and craziness.
He is survived by his son Don; and daughter, Michelle Landers, husband Scott. Grandchildren, Britany, and Natalya. Great-grandchildren; Aiden, Ariel, Addison, and Kaydence. Sister, Charlotte Lamb, husband Mike, sister, Linda Arevalo, husband Juan. Brothers, Jerry Nicholson, Frank Nicholson, wife Linda.
He was preceded in death by his wife Judith Nicholson.
A celebration of life will be held this spring/summer. The location will be determined.
