Obituary of Virginia Thiessen
December 26, 1962 - January 27, 2022
Jenni was born in Akron, Ohio to Darrell and Montie Fultz. She married the love of her life, Craig Thiessen, on May 18, 1991, and celebrated 30 wonderful years together. To this union were born three wonderful boys, Byron, Levi, and Caleb.
Jenni took pride in being the owner and operator of Jenni's Family Food Store providing food and resources for those in need. To assist in providing for her family Jenni worked many jobs including working at Chemeketa community college, Meals on Wheels in Salem, and the Salem Senior Center just to name a few.
Jenni was a student at Salem Bible College and from her training taught children about the Bible. She led children’s church services for children ages 2-12. Through her teaching, many came to know Christ and knew her as “Princess Jenni”. Throughout her life, she taught the truth of Christ to her family and everyone she met.
Some of Jenni’s favorite activities and interests were camping, fishing, crabbing, and quilting. She longed to finish quilts and show them off and will always be remembered as being AMAZING. She made quilts and provided them to many family members and friends. These were gifts from the heart. Craig and the boys adored Jenni and provided for her needs out of love and respect for this AWESOME lady.
Jenni is survived by her husband Craig and sons Byron, Levi, and Caleb. She is also survived by her mother Montie Fultz and Sisters Barb (Mike) Henry and Noni Blausey. She was preceded in death by her father Darrell Fultz.
