Obituary of Lynette Guscott

May 6, 1965 – December 20, 2021

On December 20th, 2021 Lynette went to join her family in Heaven.

Lynette was born in Sacramento CA on May 6, 1965. Her family moved around while she was a girl so she lived in California, Hawaii, and Montana as she was being raised. Most of that time was in Missoula MT. After graduating from Hellgate High in Missoula she decided to attend Rocky Mountain College in Billings Montana. It was in Billings that she met David Guscott. It was a whirlwind romance and the two were married within 11 Months in November of 1985. They had two sons, Richard born in 1989, and Alexander born in 1991. While being Married she moved with David to Colorado, California, Montana, Utah, Arizona, Florida, and Oregon. Most of this time was spent living in Billing Montana close to family.

Lynette had a strong faith in God and attended Faith Chapel. She was involved in various ministry programs while there including High school, Jr High, and community groups. It was her faith that kept her going during her many years of being sick with chronic illnesses that eventually resulted in her journey to heaven.

Lynette had an amazing talent for creating and making things in her craft room. She made all holidays and birthdays special for her family and friends. She was also an amazing baker. She decorated birthday cakes for her boys and even made her niece Heather's Wedding cake. Neighbors would always get baked goods at Christmas. She would send cupcakes to work with Dave for his co-workers. She was always generous and giving to all she met.

Lynette is survived by her loving Husband David, Son and wife, Richard and Erin, Grandson Ronan, and her Son Alexander. Mother Ellisteen Smith, Sister Lisa Carden, and Brother Lane Smith. She was preceded in death by her Sister Vonda Goldsby and Father Jack Smith

In lieu of flowers, the family would like you to donate to a local humane society or dog rescue. Lynette loved all of the pups she had over the years, Buck, Hunter, Hazel, Max, and now Cooper.

A Celebration of her Life will be held at Faith Chapel in Billings Montana on May 6th at 11 AM. A Luncheon reception will follow the ceremony at Faith Chapel for all that wish to stay and share memories.
