Obituary of Joe Arthur Michal
Joe A. Michal was born on July 6th, 1947 in Everett, Washington to George E. Michal and Hulda C. Medin. He passed away in Portland, Oregon on December 11th, 2021 at the age of 74.
Joe attended Myrtle Creek High school and graduated in 1965. After high school, he joined the air force and served for 4 years, and then served in the Navy for 20+ years, until he retired from the Navy in 1991. After the military, he began working for Ken Cipra trucking as a dump truck driver.
His favorite pastimes included watching Nascar, watching movies, the Steelers Football, and most of all driving.
Joe is survived by his son Don Michal ( Tammy Koenig Michal) who resides in Sherwood, Oregon; Grandsons Cody Hubbs (Michal) who resides Pocatello, Idaho, and Nicholas Michal who resides in Sherwood, Oregon.
He is recently proceeded in death by his sister Shirley Kosky.
A celebration of life will be scheduled for a later date.
