Jean Stuvick

Obituary of Jean Stuvick

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Mother, Grandmother, Sister, and Friend. She will forever be in our hearts and souls. Jeanie was the most amazing, generous, and caring person – always willing to help anyone in need, but her family was her world.

My mother was born in Fargo, ND – the family moved to Oregon in approx. 1953. She attended Tualatin Elementary, Fowler, and graduated from Tigard High School. Mom always re- mained close to the old “Norwood” area of Tualatin. Jeanie was a meat wrapper at Ferguson’s Sentry/ Thriftway (various local locations) for many years continuing with Ernie’s and West Slope Thriftways, Cub Foods, and Albertsons. In 1998 Jeanie changed direction and became the manager of King City Arco for the next 24 years.

Jeanie is survived by her daughter, Tracey Galvan; grandsons, Nicholas and Tyler Galvan (of Wilsonville, OR); her beloved brother Dan Helms (Tualatin, OR); and niece/nephew, Nicole and Andrew Helms; along with other nieces and nephews and dear friends.

We will not be holding a service at this time. Remembrances to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation or The National Kidney Foundation. Please know that your love and support is greatly appreciated.
