Obituary of Effie Frazier
Effie Joyce Hadley Frazier, passed away on September 22, 2021, surrounded by love ones.
Effie was born in Montrose, Arkansas to Emma Lee Johnson Hadley and Henry Edward Hadley on October 22, 1958. She went to Lakeside High School, in Lake Village, Arkansas, and graduated in 1977. She earned a bachelor's degree in Fisheries Biology in 1991 from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff. She worked as an Aquatic Biologist and Purchasing Agent at the Bureau of Land Management for a total of 25 years. Effie enjoyed spending time with family, cooking, listening to music, dancing, attending Real, Henry, and Jaxson's dance recitals, Real's choir concerts, Henry's orchestra concerts, and Jaxson sporting events, playing tabletop and board games. She worked with several local nonprofit organizations and was a member of Zeta Phi Beta, Sorority Incorporated.
Effie is survived by two daughters Cicely Frazier and Emily Frazier, one son Henry James Frazier, two grandsons Real Jai Frazier Mitchell and Jaxson Lavell Crawford, four sisters Henryetter Curtis (Herman) Veargia Carolina (Henry), Julia Hadley, and Jackie Hadley, seven brothers Jim Hadley (Alberta), Andrew Hadley (Maryann), Dan Hadley (Evelyn), Anthony Hadley (Isabell), Buddie Hadley, and James Hadley and a host of special nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is preceded in death by both parents Emma Lee Johnson Hadley and Henry Edward Hadley, three brothers Leon Hadley (Merdie), Willie Hadley, Vearnon Hadley, and MacArthur Hadley.
A celebration of life event will be announced at a later time. Crown Memorial Cremation and Burial will handle the arrangements.
