Obituary of Linda Ann Jessee

Linda Ann Jessee born 10/3/1945 went to be with Jesus on 7/21/2021. Linda was at her home in Gresham OR, with her children and her granddaughter Candace by her side as she took her last earthly breath.

 Born in Riverside California Linda was the daughter of Clarence Quakenbush and Barbara Jean Freschauf and Step Father; James Freschauf. She graduated from Ramona High School.  She married and later divorced Roger Coult. They had two children Deborah Jean and Douglas Le Roy. She graduated from Los Angeles Hospital School of Nursing. Linda worked most of her career as a Certified Rehabilitation Nurse in Chico California where she met and married Anthony (Tony) Jessee her husband of over 26 years.

Linda never met a soul that she did not consider a friend! She was loved well by many, and loved many, well. She would offer help to anyone in need. She was eager to hear “your story”, and found such joy in blessing others. Her beautiful smile lit up the room. She spent most her career helping others working as a Rehabilitation Nurse in Chico California, touching many lives with her loving ways. She worked at Chico Community Hospital until they closed and went on to retire from Enloe Rehabilitation Hospital. Striving to serve the Lord and with all her heart she was a prayer warrior bringing the needs of others before the Lord. After retiring she enjoyed her grandchildren the most. She enjoyed camping and panning for gold with her husband. She loved visiting with her grandchildren along West coast. She even took trips to Mexico to be with her son and his family there.

She is survived by her children with spouses; daughter; Deborah Jean and Mark Boyce of Troutdale, OR, and son; Douglas Le Roy and Esmeralda Alheli Coult of Tijuana, Mexico.  8 grandchildren listed with spouses oldest to youngest: Candace and Kevin Bemrose of Redmond OR, Nathan Goodman of Prineville, OR, Sarah and Fabian Mendoza of Lone Oak, TX, Caleb Coult of Chico CA, Jessee and Rachel Coult of Glendale, OR, Seth Coult of Roseburg, OR, Andrew Coult of Tucson, AZ, and Linda Eve (Evie) Coult of Santiago de Querétaro, Qro., Mexico

12 great grandchildren listed by age and families: Isaac Thomas, Chaz Duvall, Kevin and Gracelynn (Gracie) Bemrose; Destiny Goodman; Grace, Ian, and Joy and Raven Mendoza; Kairos, Caerwyn (Winnie), and Rhapsody Coult.

Mother Barbara Jean Freschauf of Mount Lake Terrace, Washington; Siblings listed with spouses; sister, Diana Sue and Fred Thomas of Chico, CA and brother, Charles and Francine Freschauf of Edmonds, WA.

Her niece Lea and Tony Williams of Sweet Home, OR,  nephew Toby Berger of Almanore, CA., niece Nicole and John Ramsdell of Shoreline WA., nephew Paul Freschauf of Austin TX, nephew Adam Freschauf of Yelm WA. and niece Amanda and Brian Savory of Bellingham WA.

She was preceded in death by her husband Anthony (Tony) Jessee, maternal grandparents Christian Oscar and Mahala Lieb , her father Clarence Quakenbush, Step father James Freschauf, and Half- brother James Quakenbush, Sister In Law Nancy Freschauf, Uncle Roy and Aunt Dorothy Lieb, Uncle Vernon and Aunt Lois Lieb.

A Celebration of Life is to be held at New Hope Church   5995 Old Hwy 99 S, Roseburg, OR,  (mailing address PO Box 1615 Winston, OR 97496 ,on September 4^th  2021, at 2:00 in the afternoon officiated by Pastor Darin Kirkman by  be with small reception following.  All are welcome to attend the Celebration of Life.

 Family is requesting that any monetary gifts and/or flowers for the Celebration of Life are sent to New Hope Church at address above.

Cremation handled by Crown Memorial Center Eastside in Portland, Oregon.
