Obituary of Harold Harlan Magee
Harold Harlan Magee passed away peacefully on August 11, 2021 in Mount Angel, Oregon. He was 92 years old.
He was born June 30, 1929 near Scotts Mills, Oregon to John William & Edith Phoebe (Kellogg) Magee. He was the fourth of 6 children.
Harold graduated from Silverton High School in 1947 and George Fox College in 1951 with a B. A in English. He served in the United States Navy for four years; first on a transport ship and then on the island of Guam during the Korean War.
He worked in the electronics field for Tektronix, he taught at Portland Community College and worked overseas for JAARS and Trans World Radio supporting missionaries.
Harold married Wilma Harris in 1956, they were married for 50 years before her death in 2006.
He is survived by his two brothers, Ken & Warren, four children; Malcolm, Pam, Jody and Patty along with 10 grandchildren.
