Obituary of Ricky Lee Reese
On June 1, 2021, Ricky Lee Reese, beloved son, father and grandfather, passed away at the age of 66.
Rick was born on May 4, 1955 in Portland, OR to William and Joan Reese. He was the second of four children, growing up with his three sisters, Joellen, Susan and Brenda. He graduated from Franklin High School in 1973, and he worked at Sulzer Pumps for over 35 years. With his former wife Cathy, he had two daughters, Leeandra and Alexandra. He was grandfather to Reese and Walker Dittman.
Rick had a passion for golf and he also enjoyed fishing. He was known for his gentle spirit and easy-going demeanor. He had a very generous and kind heart, especially towards his family.
Rick was preceded in death by his father, William Carl Jr., and his sister, Susan. He is survived by his mother, remaining sisters, children, grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will likely be held at a future date still to be determined. His ashes will remain with the family until spread over Crater Lake per his wishes.
