Obituary of James Allen Darrell McClain
James “Jimi” Allen McClain, 37, of Wailuku, Maui, formerly of Washougal, Washington, passed away on May 30, 2021 in Washougal, Washington.
Jimi was born in Salem, Oregon to Beverly McClain on May 10th, 1984. He went to Camas High School and graduated in 2002. He worked as a Manager for Da Warehouse in Maui for the past 3 years. Prior to that he worked for Goodwill Industries for many years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing video games but most importantly he enjoyed being with his children and hanging out with family and friends. He was compassionate to anyone in need and was ready to help wherever or whenever he could.
Jimi is survived by his wife, Rachel of Wailuku, Maui; his children Ayden (9), Lilian (6) and Randall James (2); his father Pat Magee and brother Keith Magee, along with aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and many friends who were considered family. He is preceded in death by his mother, Beverly McClain, his uncle and his grandparents.
Private cremation will be held at Crown Memorial Center in Portland, Oregon.
A Celebration of Life ceremony will be held at Fern Prairie Grange, 1814 NE 267ths Ave Camas, Washington 98607 on Sunday June 6th at 3:00pm. All are welcomed. Light refreshments to follow service.
