Obituary of Alice Sebring

Alice was born in Leith, North Dakota to Daniel and Matilda (Brodehl) Beirwagen.
She Married Rev. Frederick George Heupel on 11 Sept 1950 in Carson, North Dakota.  Within that union She had six Children.Trucene, Tifton, Timothy, Twain, Terry and Thomas. Fred passed away 13 July 1965.
After her children where raised she married Merrill (Mickey) Bennett Sebring on 18 May 1989 in Spokane, Washington. He passed away 5 Feb 1992.  

As a single Mother she acquired a Cafe which she name Alice and T's Cafe. She had that neighborhood cafe for over 20 years. It became famous for it's homecooked meals. Many customers came in to meet friends and eat her food especially her soups. She wouldn't let anyone go hungry. If someone came in and couldn't pay she would have them wash the windows for a free meal. Many of her customers would call her Mom because it felt like home.

Alice was an avid bowler. She went on many women's bowling tournaments throughout the United States winning many trophies and awards.

She is survived her children: Trucene (Daryl) Dalling, of Portland, Or, Tifton (Jane), Las Vegas, NV, Timothy (Midge) of Dallas, GA, Terry of Portland, OR, and Thomas of Portland, OR. Her daughter in law Cindy of Lake Oswego, OR. 19 Grandchildren and of coarse a number of Great Grandchildren.

She is also survived by her three sisters: Gertrude, Matilida, and Evangeline and one brother John all of Oregon.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her two husbands and her Son Twain on 17 May 2019.

A Public Graveside Ceremony will be held at Willamette National Cemetery, 11800 SE Mt Scott Blvd., Happy Valley, Oregon, 97086, on Friday, June 18th, 2021, at 11:30AM.
