Alex James Huckaby
Nov. 2, 1996 – May 18, 2021
Born in Portland, Oregon to Daniel and Debra Huckaby. Alex graduated from Rex Putnum High School in 2015.
Alex worked for his uncle right out of high school putting in office cubicles and other office furniture. But he wanted to be a mechanic. So he worked odd mechanic jobs until he got his job at Penske. Where he worked on small buses. He loved his job.
Alex’s Hobbies or should I say his main love was his ford trucks. He was always working on a vehicle either his own or a friends. Alex also loved helping others. He helped family with yard work and during the ice storm the family’s neighbors. And during fire season in 2020 he helped out a non-prophet that made him feel good. And when he could he would spend time with his daughter Daisy and son Henry. He was an awesome father and a great uncle to three nephews that thought the world of him.
Alex left behind two Children Daisy and Henry; Parents Daniel and Darlene Huckaby, Debra Jean Hinton; Grandparents Nickie Huckaby, Gary Ducan, Dotty and Roy Ronald; Great Grandma Anna Rickard; Brothers Cody James Huckaby, Cody Gene Morrrice; Sister April Merrimon; Nephews Cody Jackson, Damien, Deagan; many Aunts and Uncles and many cousins. And close friends Aimee Gravitt and Andy Robbins and many more. Alex was preceded in death by Grandma Alice Duncan and Grandpa Chuck Huckaby.
Funeral is Saturday June 12, 2021 at 1pm at
New Life Church Gladstone 6125 Caldwel Road, Gladstone, OR 97027
Pastor John Unger from Mountain Gospel Fellowship, Falls City, OR with assistants from Pastor John Roberts from New Life Church Gladstone.
